Nakisha Lee Guzman is the Founder and President of Entoto Gear Foundation. Nakisha, her husband Ray, their five daughters, and her Mother-In-Love, Josie has poured their lives into serving wherever God has led them. Giving and serving is a gift that has lined the fabric of her life and was woven together by the sacrifices she watched her grandmother make. Nakisha’s life was forever changed after realizing her dream of visiting Africa while serving alongside Ordinary Hero.
In the winter of 2014, Nakisha formalized her giving & serving efforts by launching a nonprofit whose mission was to be a conduit of hope to the disabled and the disadvantaged. Through a radical step of faith & miraculous turn of events that same summer, her husband Ray and her oldest daughter, Tori went to Africa to serve as well. This trip was a pivotal moment for the Guzman family.
In 2016, The Guzman’s launched their B-Corp – Entoto Gear whose mission is to help lighten the load for women & children across the globe through the sale of fashion forward lifestyle & travel products. 100% of the profit goes towards furthering the mission of the Entoto Gear Foundation.
In 2020, while navigating a global pandemic as a family of seven, Ray and Nakisha felt “the nudge” to begin doing more work, to set their hands to new soil. They were activated to equip and serve children, families and communities in rural areas through Christ-centered education, athletics and economic empowerment.
The Guzman Family and the Entoto Gear Foundation (EGF) desires to unearth God-given purposes by investing in the whole individual, and the family. In turn, seeds of change will flow into the community. EGF believes this is how you can transform and uplift a nation…all to the Glory of God.
